Leg

Derived from the hindleg, this cut commonly comes either as a bone in or boneless leg roast and usually weights several kilos. The leg has exterior fat that is easy to trim, and is best suited for slow roasting. Leg is also available in steaks cut from the rump end of the leg, once the bone is removed. Steaks are best cooked via faster methods, such as the grill or BBQ.
